Microcosms

I always doodled in pen & ink even if I wasn’t really creating any other art. In 2009, I got involved in a fundraiser as an artist and created a few of my other series using acrylics and ink and then I discovered Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils. This series was born out of my love of doodling, circles, and my new watercolor pencils. As I was working on them, I realized that my doodles had evolved from black & white almost structural doodles to more organic free flowing doodles that incorporated colour.
